Hands‑On Dialysis Expertise Backed by 20+ Years of Operational Leadership
I have experience leading renal care and dialysis operations in high‑performing healthcare systems. My approach has always been hands‑on. I have been a BONENT‑certified dialysis technician for more than 21 years, and that frontline experience still guides how I lead teams, solve problems and support patient care.

Operationally, I helped build a kidney failure program that earned a Top 20 U.S. News & World Report ranking for 2025–2026. I have also led a collaborative effort that reduced inpatient dialysis Length Of Stay and Day of dialysis discharge by improving workflows and coordination across departments. My work centers on strong systems, reliable execution, and measurable improvements that elevate both patient outcomes and organizational performance.
Growing up in a small rural town in Ohio, I wanted to travel and see what the big cites had to offer. I proposed something that hadn’t been done before: placing dialysis technicians into the travel nursing model. I had searched for travel companies but none at the time utilized Certified Hemodialysis Technicians.
One travel company, and a large well-known hospital took a chance on my advanced skill set. The success of that pilot opened the door for travel agencies across the country to begin utilizing dialysis technicians. That shift helped expand opportunities for techs and improved staffing flexibility for hospitals nationwide.
I built my early career as a travel dialysis technician working with many top hospitals across the U.S. I had the opportunity to contribute to clinical trials that helped shape the dialysis devices used today.
I also volunteer with the National Kidney Foundation to educate communities on the pre curses of kidney disease.
