About Jason Stiers

Hands-On Dialysis Leadership Backed by More Than 20 Years of Experience

“I believe communication is the key to success in every dialysis program.”

Jason Stiers has spent more than two decades working at the intersection of dialysis operations, clinical care, and workforce development. A BONENT-certified dialysis technician for over 21 years, he leads from the frontline experience that first shaped his career. That hands-on perspective continues to guide how he builds systems, supports teams, and strengthens patient care.

Growing up in a small rural town in Ohio, Jason was driven by curiosity and a desire to see how healthcare operated beyond his community. Early in his career, he recognized a gap no one else had addressed: dialysis technicians were not included in the travel nursing model.

He proposed a pilot that placed Certified Hemodialysis Technicians into travel assignments. One hospital and one agency took a chance on that pilot. The model worked, and that success helped expand travel opportunities for dialysis technicians nationwide and improved staffing flexibility for hospitals across the country.

What began as an idea became a structural shift in workforce strategy.

Jason later transitioned into operational leadership roles within high-performing healthcare systems, helping build a kidney failure program that earned a Top 20 U.S. News & World Report ranking for 2025–2026.

He has led collaborative initiatives that reduced inpatient dialysis Length of Stay and improved day-of-discharge coordination by strengthening workflows and communication across departments. His work consistently centers on:

  • Clear systems

  • Reliable execution

  • Measurable outcomes

  • Interdisciplinary communication

Because dialysis programs succeed when everyone understands their role.

Clinical Innovation & Community Commitment

Throughout his career, Jason has contributed to clinical trials that helped shape modern dialysis technologies used today. His experience spans inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing dialysis models, giving him a comprehensive view of operational realities across care settings.

He also volunteers with the National Kidney Foundation, educating communities about the precursors of kidney disease and advocating for early awareness and prevention.

A Practical, Partnership-Based Approach

Jason founded Stiers Renal Solutions to bring structured, defensible dialysis oversight and education to healthcare organizations navigating increasing regulatory and operational complexity.

His philosophy is simple:

Strong communication builds strong programs.
Strong systems protect patients.
Clear oversight protects organizations.
